I made this Gleaming Maple Cheesecake as my best friend was moving to the other side of the world. The gaudy adornments of bacon and fried egg sweet were to honour all the brunches we'd shared and our WhatsApp groupchat nicknamed 'Breakfast Club'. (#neverknowinglyunderdecorated). Admittedly this wasn't my finest food photography moment. I was too busy cherishing the last few hours together to faff with composition and lighting.
