Linzer Augen have been part and parcel to our family's Christmas celebrations for generations! We bake the cookies with the jam filling already inside so the jam almost turns into candy! This way, the cookies can also be stored a little while longer (for those mythical creatures who are able to resist eating more than one at a time!). Merry Christmas!
