I’ve found that due to its marvellous crunch the crust of the Old Fashioned Sandwich Loaf in particular, makes the perfect base for a Simply Nigella favourite, avocado toast with quick-pickled radishes. Since this loaf turns out perfectly every time and is super easy to make, I’ve made it once a week since it first aired on TV. Conveniently, it’s the perfect way to use up leftover sour cream from Kitchen’s chicken fajita recipe. There is always just enough left... perhaps that’s at my insistence...very efficient cooking either way - no food waste here!
