Nigella's Guinness Chocolate Cake is my favourite chocolate cake recipe ever. I've made it countless times now, and am always thinking of new variations of the original recipe. This version is one of my favourites so far- a Guinness Black Forest cake, made by brushing the sponges with cherry liqueur, filling with fresh cream and cherries, and finishing with some more cherries, cream and grated chocolate. I loved the combination of the ferric Guinness tang with the freshness of cherries and cream!
