Made at my mothers' place in Bundanoon NSW Australia with Williams-Bartlett pears (probably riper than recommended) provided by a neighbour and decorated with Perfume Passion roses from the garden. They smell just like the rose water so was the perfect match! Made half the recipe as there were only two of us to consume, was a peary, delicious and easy cake will be making again!
