Very moist and light cake, that took only few minutes to mix up. I used quite ripe pears that otherwise would have been wasted. The rose water taste is barely there and beautifully complements pears and pistachios. I couldn’t find any fresh roses, but dried rosebuds, ground pistachios and lightly toasted almond flakes made a pretty topping.
