This cake is like crunching into a Maltesers chocolate ball. You have the moist, bouncy chocolate sponge and the smooth malty icing that is just delectable. The last time I made this cake I had just started baking, 10 years ago. Back then I used hot chocolate powder instead of cocoa powder - never do this! I have seen the chocolatey light!
