Love Maltesers so this was a no brainer choice to make (brilliant for lockdown baking too as only had to grab a bag of Maltesers on our essential shop!). Love that so many of Nigella's cake recipes are just 'bung it in the mixer' - makes for so many less dishes. As we're not huge buttercream fans I made half as much for the filling and did a ganache topping instead, think the glossy chocolate really takes it to the next level :D
