I absolutely love the food processor cake recipes from Nigella - they save me so much time and reduce the amount of washing up! After baking the cake I placed raspberries in an upright layer to give height and central support to the cake, before spreading over the softly whipped cream. I then used a piping bag with star nozzle to pipe some extra cream detail around the outer central-rim of the cake and finally used a few halved raspberries to add final decoration. It was the jubilee weekend so it felt appropriate to serve this outside, decorated with the roses flowering in my garden, sharing with our neighbours.
