This was one of the very first Chocolate cake recipes I made years ago and it has been one of my absolute favorites. Made it for a friends' bday a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. I opted for a thicker frosting so I could do more detailed decorating. It is moist, rich and decadent. A small slice goes a long way. I have increased the quantities slightly to make a bigger cake with more layers. If you want a foolproof chocolate cake, this sure is the one. It sure is a Devil!!
