I had a lot of fun making these lovely biscuits. I was bit challenged by loadshedding. Which in South Africa is when they turn your electricity off for certain times a day, at the moment we have no electrify for 6 hours a day. I am not a fan of hazelnuts, so I got some almond slivers, toasted them and grind. Adding a really nice roasted almond flavour to the biscuit. I wanted to challenge myself and made homemade raspberry jam. Adding a lovely tart and sweet addition to my biscuit.
