I am not very good with following recipes but I really tried with this one and it the reason why I didn’t adorn it because I was pleased with the outcome. I wish it had been centred on the plate but otherwise I’m extremely pleased with it. It’s the last cake I’m going to make before moving house after 22 years. It helped use up flour, cocoa powder and even caster sugar. Normally I would have used regular sugar but for some reason I had a lot of caster sugar that I was saving for a special occasion. The silly things we humans do.
