My dad's birthday is on December 19th. He always jokes about it being too close to Christmas for anyone to take it seriously. So, each year, I try to make it special. This year, I made his favorite Yule log cake with some extra Dutch-processed cocoa in the cream to make it extra chocolaty. He loved it!
