Just the perfect Christmas centrepiece that appealed to both adults and children in equal measure! You really can’t go wrong with chocolate although this Yule log is beautifully light despite its indulgent appearance and was wonderfully straightforward to make. (I’m now a total convert to buttercream made in the food processor!). It’s certainly impressive enough without the meringue mushrooms and frosted herbs and berries but I decided to go all out as it’s Christmas!
