Since I can remember, we’ve had a Yule log each Christmas Day, made by my mum using Nigella’s recipe. A few years ago I started helping her make it on Christmas Eve until this year I took on the challenge by myself. Unfortunately, I ran out of icing sugar to decorate, however, given there is no snow around on Christmas Day in my town, I think it’s quite fitting.
