
I baked the custard hearts and made the icing. I substituted the Birds eye custard as it’s not available. I made my own custard with cornstarch and vanilla sugar for the cookie part and added corn starch and pure vanilla extract to the icing. I used a fork to make the pattern on the cookies. They were delicious. I served the custard hearts with a small ball of light chocolate ice cream. It was a delicious pairing!
