I’ve been doing what I love most, which is pottering about my kitchen, and I seem to be on a rather gratifying hummus-making loop. I hope I won’t offend purists (though admittedly I may have done that already with my Peanut Butter Hummus) by telling you that the hummus I can’t stop making has the umami-rich addition of white miso. Yes, White Miso Hummus might sound strange, but don’t knock it until you’ve tried it. Spread lusciously on toast and the first mouthful will be all that’s needed to convince you.
