This time next month, I will be in Australia! I find it hard to believe it's come round so soon, but in a few weeks' time, I will be setting off for the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, followed by a stint in Sydney.
I salivate just thinking about this trip; the point is, I know from years of being pleasurably immersed in the works of Stephanie Alexander, Maggie Beer, Donna Hay, Bill Grainger, Neil Perry, Joan Campbell, Kylie Kwong, Genevieve Harris and all their illustrious compatriots as well as from a three week holiday down under with my children a few years back, that the grub is good there!
Twenty four hours on a plane is a long time to go for a meal, but you know me!
