Sweat the onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat in a big saucepan ( I use 5 a litre pan for this batch), add the paprika powder and after a couple of minutes the soaked and drained green lentils, diced potato, tomatoes, stock cubes, honey and water. Simmer for about 35 minutes. When ready, season with salt. Serve with wedges of lemon to squeeze into each plate individually. Others might like a dollop of crème fraîche in their plate...
