Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 4 medium egg yolks
  • 200 grams sour cream
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons spinach (cooked)
  • 4 egg whites
  • 500 grams feta cheese
  • 400 grams ricotta cheese
  • 250 grams ham (sliced)
  • 400 grams mushrooms (sliced and fried)
  • 100 grams cheese (shredded)
  • 4 medium egg yolks
  • 7 ounces sour cream
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 4 tablespoons spinach (cooked)
  • 4 egg whites
  • 18 ounces feta cheese
  • 14 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 9 ounces ham (sliced)
  • 14 ounces mushrooms (sliced and fried)
  • 4 ounces cheese (shredded)

Method

Ham, Cheese and Spinach Roll is a community recipe submitted by belgrade and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  1. Mix together egg yolks and sour cream, add well beaten stiff egg whites with mixer at lowest speed and then add slowly one by one spoon of flour mixed with baking powder and salt with mixer at lowest speed also. At the end add spinach mixing by hand.
  2. Put baking paper in a oven pen 37x 34 cm or less pour the mixture and lightly spread evenly onto it bake at 180 celsius about 15 minutes, or until lightly golden Take out of the oven cover with wet but squeezed cloth and flip over onto the cloth.
  3. Peel the paper and roll the baked dough along the longer side together with the towel while still hot. Let cool completely in a cloth
  4. Mix together ricota and feta and spread 2/3-3/4 on t place mushrooms along the long side and ham also next to it Roll the dough (without the cloth)
  5. Spread the remaining cheese over and decorate with shredded cheese Let cool in the fridge over night
