Introduction

Oreo biscuits deep fried until crispy to reveal a peanut butter and fluffy marshmallow centre.

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 80 grams flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 3 tablespoons soda water
  • 100 millilitres milk
  • 1 packet oreo cookies
  • 1 tub peanut butter
  • 100 grams marshmallows
  • 1 litre vegetable oil
  • 2⅚ ounces flour
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 tablespoons soda water
  • 4 fluid ounces milk
  • 1 packet oreo cookies
  • 1 tub peanut butter
  • 3½ ounces marshmallows
  • 1⅘ pints vegetable oil

Method

1.Make the batter by placing flour and bicarbonate soda in a mixing bowl placing the egg in the centre of the well. Whisk in the egg gradually adding the milk and soda water.

2.Cover both sides of the oreo biscuits in peanut butter using a knife, melt the marshmallow and dip both sides of the peanut butter covered oreo.

  1. Bring the oil to the boil in a deep pan, ready when bread crumb turns golden brown.

  2. Place the covered oreos into the batter, coat and carefully place into the oil until golden brown. Only needs a few seconds each side.

  3. Place on kitchen towel and allow to cool

Now ready to enjoy. Best served straight away!
