Metric Cups
  • 2 kiwi fruit
  • 1 can cherries (in syrup or juice)
  • 1 punnet strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • creme de cassis
  • cointreau
  • cream (to serve)

Method

  • Stone the cherries and place in large bowl, keeping the juice/syrup to one side, add your strawberries, sliced kiwi, grapes, raspberries, pineapple, banana, melon chunks (any fruit you like)
  • Mix gently as not to break the softer fruit and then top up cherry juice with crème de cassis and a drop of Cointreau (or any other fruity alcohol) and add to the fruit...
  • Cover and place in fridge.
  • Serve with cream (whipped or not) and a warning for drivers... Can be blended with extra alcohol for an alcoholic fruit smoothie!
