Introduction

Well I have no photo of this as I am temporarily without a camera or telephonic device. But basically it is a pudding that resembles sago or caviar. It is full of iron and protein and comfortingly sweet but healthy. These little black seeds are an ancient south American food, once exchanged for currency. It could sustain you for long periods and you could just about live on it alone. It can also be mixed into drinks. You can also find white chia seeds, in which case you may want to go with the white colour and add cashew nuts and maybe cacao butter if you had any .

Ingredients

Serves: 1

  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder (or raw chocolate powder)
  • almond milk
  • sweetener
  • dried cranberries
  • strawberries (or blueberries chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
