Cheese Spread

Introduction

This is one of my favourites and it goes with absolutely everything.. bread, chips.....and absolutely easy.

Ingredients

Yields: 200-300ml

  • 1 cup hung curd
  • ½ cup finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 clove finely chopped garlic
  • salt (to taste)
  • juice of ½ lime

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in the food processor and blitz away for 5 mins or until mixture is creamy.
  2. Store in a clean bottle and keep in fridge.

Additional Information

It looks so beautiful with the green of the dill and the white of the cheese spread. You may also try this variation: use green tamarind pulp with mayo and mix well with some salt. It goes really well with fish cakes, crab cakes, kebabs etc.

Makes a medium sized jar (200-300ml).
