Bigoi are a sort of spaghetti, made with eggs (you can use just spaghetti :) ) and salsa is the italian word for sauce. It's a very simple and poor recipe we usually eat on XMas Eve (once poor people could't afford a big meal both on the 24th and 25th Dec)

Ingredients

Serves: 4

Metric Cups
  • 100 grams spaghetti (per person)
  • 1 anchovies (salted)
  • 200 grams onions
  • 3½ ounces spaghetti (per person)
  • 1 anchovies (salted)
  • 7 ounces onions

Method

  • The salsa: Slice the onion and put it in a pan with some olive oil
  • Cook it until it gets soft
  • Clean the anchovies and add them to the onion Let them cook until they melt
  • Cook spaghetti (pay attention: don't use a lot of salt in the water!!!) Pour spaghetti in the sauce and stir EAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
