Chop the ginger coarsely and fill a pot with water. A stock pot works nicely. My preference for ginger is root whose flesh is more yellow and is more tender. These make for more fragrant tea. Boil for 3-4 hours. The longer the water boils, the stronger the tea will be. Add sugar or honey to taste and enjoy! This is good hot or iced. you can also add 1 tbsp heavy cream to make it luxurious.

Introduction
This fiery tea is amazing for when you're sick. It's also good for when you're not sick. This tea is good to drink hot or iced. I got it from a pacific islander friend of mine whose mother made it for him this way for as long as he could remember.
