Healthy [ish], quick, easy and contain inexpensive ingredients. I make these at the beginning of the week to go into school lunches. They are a bit like a muesli bar but with added mummy love. :o)

this doesnt stick together well enough to make balls. I will make it into a tray bake/flapjack type thing and cut up afterwards

This recipe is great to use. Instead of rolling into balls I tip the whole mix into a slice tin and then cut into bar size pieces after cooking. Also ditched the sultanas (don't like them) and instead use freeze dried fruit powder and chopped almonds. First time strawberry and second time black current. Made fantastic fruit flavoured chewy muesli bar type snack for lunch boxes.

Absolutely love this recipe! I have used it many times for various family members, and each time I have had compliments. Easy to make and really tasty the day after baking!

I don't think this recipe is correct. There is nowhere near enough wet ingredients and the mixture does not come together.
