Line pie tin with pastry. Mix together sausage meat tomatoes, onion, bacon and seasoning. Place on top of pastry base. Arrange sliced egg over this and top with pastry lid. Brush with milk and bake 45 mins in oven 5/190 C.

- 16 ounces shortcrust pastry
- 8 ounces sausagemeat
- 2 large tomatoes (skinned and chopped)
- 1 chopped onion
- 4 rashers chopped bacon
- 1 sliced hard-boiled egg
- salt
- pepper
