- 6 sheets filo pastry
- 1 cup corn oil (for brushing the sheets)
- water (for brushing the sheets at the edges)
- 1 cup corn oil (for frying the kourkoubínia)
For the Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

- 250 millilitres corn oil (for frying the kourkoubínia)
