Ingredients

Metric Cups

For the Pork

  • 6 beer
  • 1½ kilograms pork ribs
  • 125 millilitres salt

For the Marinade

  • 250 millilitres cognac
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 red chillies
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

For the Pork

  • 6 lager
  • 3⅓ pounds pork ribs
  • 4 fluid ounces salt

For the Marinade

  • 9 fluid ounces cognac
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 red chiles
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Method

Cognac Marinated Port Rib is a community recipe submitted by Diamante and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Open up a beer, take a good sip, Add all "marinada" stuff in a mixer, mix well .
  • Put the pork in a pot and add the marinada, close and put in refrigerator and wait for 4 hours (+/-)
  • Take the pork, splash the salt put in grill far from the red coal with bones downside. About 40 minutes verify if pork is tender, so put next to red coal to get some golden colour.
  • Put in a wood, slice open up another beer... enjoy it.
