Introduction

This is a great tasting recipe if you need an instant crumble with only a few things in your cupboard. Using a tin of fruit and some other ingredients. I will keep using this as it is easy to do and serve with some natural yoghurt to make it healthy.

Ingredients

Serves: 6

Metric Cups
  • 1 tin canned peach halves in syrup
  • 100 grams raisins
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon curd
  • 175 grams plain flour
  • 75 grams butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tin canned peach halves in syrup
  • 100 grams raisins
  • 1 tablespoon rose water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon curd
  • 175 grams all-purpose flour
  • 75 grams butter
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

Emergency Knock Up Crumble is a community recipe submitted by Brybaz and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  1. Heat the oven at 180℃ or gas mark 4 or 350℉
  2. Use a clear Pyrex Roasting or Cassorole dish and open a tin of peaches and place in the bottom. You will only need 2-3 tablespoons of juice, so you can drink the rest or use for something else.
  3. Add the raisins, rose water and lemon curd and spread evenly over the peaches.
  4. Rub flour, butter, sugar and spice to fine bread crumbs and put evenly on top.
  5. Put in the oven for 45 mins or until golden brown.
