Dissolve gelatine in 3/4 cup water. Add the sugar into a pan. Pour the rest of the water (i.e. 1 cup water) into it and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add the melted gelatine to the sugar and keep the pan on the fire for about 3 minutes. Stir. Add vanilla, lime juice . Add desired colour and beat until it has doubled in volume and pour into a greased tray. Cut into squares once set and dust with corn flour.
