In the morning...is best to do this. Put the olive oil in a bowl. Add ALL the ingredients ( except brie & pasta & nuts ) to the oil. Stir well and leave out on kitchen counter, all day..covered with cling film. Leave till needed in the evening. Put brie in FREEZER, 30 min before tossing in pasta. While pasta is cooking...cut brie in small cubes, set aside. Cook your linguini as per directions. Drain pasta, reserving about 1/4 cup liquid...dump pasta back into pot with the 1/4 boiling liquid..add the room temperate bowl of olive oil mixture & cubed brie. Toss well , serve and top with roasted pine nuts! Divine! Serve with a crisp dry white wine. Note: If you like anchovies..wonderful tossed in, too!
