This is very nice dish with Naan Bread or Roti.

Ingredients

Serves: 2-3 persons

Metric Cups
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 1 kilogram potatoes
  • 125 millilitres fresh ginger cut into thin strips
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 salt To taste
  • 250 millilitres tomato puree
  • 250 millilitres fresh coriander Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cauliflower
  • 2⅕ pounds potatoes
  • 4 fluid ounces fresh gingerroot cut into thin strips
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon red chile
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 salt To taste
  • 9 fluid ounces tomato puree
  • 9 fluid ounces cilantro Chopped
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Method

  • Cut potatoes in small cubes.
  • Remove leaves of Cauliflower and cut evenly into pieces .
  • Heat oil in skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds. When sizzle,add ginger strips.
  • Add potatoes and fry .
  • Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder.
  • Saute well for 5 mins
  • Add cauliflower florals.
  • Mix well for 5 mins.
  • Add little water and simmer for 10 mins at low heat.
  • When almost done add Tomato puree. Cover the skillet.
  • Simmer for 15 mins at low heat.
  • When done add coriander leaves and serve with naan bread or roti.
