  • Combine dry ingredients
  • Mix yeast in with warm water, then add to the dry ingredients, with the oil
  • Mix it up with your hands and knead it for 10mins
  • Cover dough with a towel and leave to rise for 30mins. dont worry if it doesnt rise all the time, for some reason it doesnt always rise, doesnt matter, tastes great anyway, is just harder to knead when you come back to it!
  • Knead the dough until its softer and workable.
  • Roll it out (1/2cm-ish, depends on your preference!) and lay it onto an oiled oven tray.
  • Add your toppings and bake in a preheated oven (150celcius) for about 30mins (depending on how thick you rolled it out).

  • Additional Information

Grill the top at the end, once you know your base is done, as grilling only takes a few minutes! If you find the top is done and the bottom is still a bit soft then move it to the bottom of the oven on a higher heat, itll cook the bottom faster without burning the top. Get out your cookie cutters and make smaller shapes for parties and kids.

    • Hi, thanks for the recipe. I was wondering if the flour you mentioned is whole wheat flour! Thanks!
