Metric Cups
  • 1 slice ham
  • 250 millilitres coca-cola (not diet)
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon tabasco
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Method

  • Combine Cola, Worcestershire, Tabasco, black pepper and garlic powder in a small sauce pan.
  • Boil over medium heat until reduced by half. Set aside.
  • Put ham slice in large frying pan over medium heat.
  • Pour three to four tablespoons of Cola sauce onto ham. (Reserve extra in a small jar in refrigerator for future use.)
  • Cook a total four to five minutes each side, turning every couple of minutes to distribute pan juices. Divide and serve.
