Date and Cinnamon Buttermilk Scones

Place flour, salt, baking soda, cream of tartar and cinnamon in a food processor. Add butter and pulse until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Tip into a bowl and add dates. Mix to a soft dough with buttermilk. Knead together lightly. Pat into a circle and I used a small round glass to press out scones. Fan bake at 190°C for 15-20 minutes. Serve with berry jam and whipped cream.
