Ingredients

Serves: 6

Metric Cups
  • 6 bananas (steamed)
  • 50 grams white rice flour
  • 750 millilitres coconut milk (from 3/4 of a coconut)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 pandan leaves
  • 75 grams sugar
  • red syrup (perhaps frambozen or strawberry)
  • ice cubes ((smash them smoothly)
  • 6 bananas (steamed)
  • 1¾ ounces white rice flour
  • 26 fluid ounces coconut milk (from 3/4 of a coconut)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 pandan leaves
  • 2⅔ ounces sugar
  • red syrup (perhaps frambozen or strawberry)
  • ice cubes ((smash them smoothly)

Method

  • Steam the bananas along with its skin until cooked for 15 minutes, take it out, let it cool. Peel, and chop it.
  • Liquidize the rice flour with 200 ml of coconut milk.
  • Cook the rest of the coconut milk with salt, pandanus, and sugar until it boils and the sugar dissolves. Pour the rice flour liquid into the boiling coconut milk, always stir so it wouldn't clump together.
  • After it's slippery and cooked, turn off the stove. Place the bananas in a plate and put the rice flour porridge and the smashed ice cubes on it. So that it'd look more interesting, pour the red syrup on the ice.
