- 25 grams butter
- 350 grams granulated sugar
- 175 millilitres evaporated milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- 115 grams marshmallows
- 225 grams chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 115 grams nuts (chopped)
- 1 ounce butter

- 8 ounces chocolate chips

- 4 ounces nuts (chopped)
Method

Grease an 18cm/7in cake tin. Mix the butter, sugar, evaporated milk and salt in a heavy pan. Stir over a medium heat til the sugar is dissolved. bring to the boil and cook for 3-5 min. or til thickened. You must stir at all time. Remove the pan from the heat and beat in the marshmallows and chocolate chips 'til they are melted. Add the vanilla essence. Put the mixture into the cake tin and level the surface. If you are using the nuts, sprinkle them over the fudge and press them into the surface. Cool the mixture completely and then cut in squares.
