Introduction

This is something that was accidentally created when I was 16 when I was messing around in the kitchen. Ever since it's been a hot favourite during gatherings and people just can't get enough of it! It's also very simple and great to eat!

  • Wash the steaks. Dry them out with looroll or kitchen roll. Put the steaks all in a tray and add in the oyster sauce. The oyster sauce should coat all of the steaks very well.
  • Splash some whisky or red wine to the steaks. Make sure that they do not flood the steaks.
  • Sprinkle dried basil all over the steaks. You may add as much or as little as you want. Add generous amounts of black pepper all over the steaks. You may choose not to add black pepper...but they taste even better with them.
  • Wrap the tray with clear foil and put them into the fridge to sit for at least 30 minutes. The longer the tastier they become.
  • Heat up the oil in the pan till its fairly hot. Make sure the flames are medium or else you will burn the steaks.
  • Lay the steaks into the pan and cook them according to how well you want them to be cooked but it would be ideal to get both sides brown. Around 2 minutes on each side.
  • Sautéed Onions:

  • Slice the onions into thin strips.
  • Heat up the pan and add in the butter. Put in the onions and fry them. Add a little salt and continue to fry them till they are soft.
  • You might want to sprinkle some water to speed up the process. Fry them for about 10 minutes then add in the oyster sauce.
  • Stir in the oyster sauce well, then add the soy sauce (Depending on how salty you want them to be).
  • Fry till very soft.
  • Serve steaks with the onions. Baked beans and canned corn go very well too!
