Cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy (or desired preference). Remove bacon pieces from grease and drain on paper towel. In remaining bacon drippings, cook the salad shrimp until heated thoroughly. Add a dash of garlic salt. (There should be plenty of moisture in the pan, to keep the shrimp from shrivelling up.) Scoop shrimp out of liquid and put in bowl. Mix the avocado chunks, bacon pieces, and shrimp and serve while still warm.
Introduction
The avacado, shrimp and bacon were supposed to go on a bed of lettuce, but we had to turn the water off to the house due to my husband fixing the bathtub faucet... so I couldn't wash any lettuce... hence, the recipe not containing lettuce! Serves 2 as a smaller salad or main course
