Aam Panna (Green Mango Cooler) is a community recipe submitted by Mithai and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.
In a saucepan with a lid, put the water, and the mangoes, and bring it to boil. When it starts boiling, cover with the lid, turn the heat down and let it simmer for a 30 mins, or till the mangoes become soft. You may check after 20 mins, and if the mangoes have turned soft, you may take it off the heat.
Pour the cooked mango and the liquid in a bowl, add sugar and mint leaves, and blend it. Or you may blend it in a food processor. Then strain it through a sieve.
Now add the salt, and cumin powder.
Adjust the water according to your taste.
Put it in the fridge and chill it.
Enjoy!
