- 3 medium green mangoes Peeled, stone removed and chopped into chunks
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon powdered rock salt
- 4 tablespoons caster sugar
- 500 millilitres water
- 4 leaves fresh mint (optional)

Method

- In a saucepan with a lid, put the water, and the mangoes, and bring it to boil. When it starts boiling, cover with the lid, turn the heat down and let it simmer for a 30 mins, or till the mangoes become soft. You may check after 20 mins, and if the mangoes have turned soft, you may take it off the heat.
- Pour the cooked mango and the liquid in a bowl, add sugar and mint leaves, and blend it. Or you may blend it in a food processor. Then strain it through a sieve.
- Now add the salt, and cumin powder.
- Adjust the water according to your taste.
- Put it in the fridge and chill it.
