  • gram fresh ginger (a piece)
  • 1 bulb of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons pepper
  • 1½ tablespoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick (a small piece)
  • 3 cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • salt (as required)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2⅕ pounds beef (cut into 1 inch square pieces)
  • gram fresh gingerroot (a piece)
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons pepper
  • 1½ tablespoons ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 cinnamon stick (a small piece)
  • 3 cardamom
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • salt (as required)
  • 4 tablespoons oil
