- gram fresh ginger (a piece)
- 1 bulb of garlic
- 3 tablespoons pepper
- 1½ tablespoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 cinnamon stick (a small piece)
- 3 cardamom
- 3 cloves
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- salt (as required)
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2⅕ pounds beef (cut into 1 inch square pieces)
- gram fresh gingerroot (a piece)
- 1 head of garlic
- 3 tablespoons pepper
- 1½ tablespoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 cinnamon stick (a small piece)
