Tagliatelle Al Salmone

Melt the butter and cook the onion but do not allow it to brown. Add ½ the salmon roughly chopped and the cream. Warm gently and add lemon; lightly mash. Cut the rest of the salmon into thin strips using kitchen scissors. Cook and drain pasta and place in a bowl. Add cream and salmon sauce. Stir thoroughly. Add salmon strips and dill or fennel and serve
