Saute the crushed garlic and diced onion in olive oil in a low Dutch oven or a high sided skillet. Add in the seasonings, saute until soft. Add the cans of cannellini beans (drained), saute them for about 10 -12 minutes in the garlic and onion mixture. Add in the crushed tomatoes and continue to cook for at least fifteen minutes. Cook your ditalini in a good amount of salted water, drain when el dente - don't overcook the pasta, if anything undercook it because it will cook in the sauce. Drain the ditalini. Add to the sauce skillet and cook for about 5 minutes more. Serve with garlic bread and lots of good parmesan. ENJOY!

- 1 pound ditalini (small tube pasta)
- 1 tin crushed tomatoes (a large tin, 28oz)
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1 small diced sweet onion
- 2 tins cannellini beans (large tins)
- olive oil (a good one)
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- fresh basil
- oregano
