Ingredients

Serves: 6

Metric Cups
  • 4 egg whites
  • 150 grams caster sugar
  • 5 millilitres white wine vinegar
  • 15 millilitres boiling water
  • 4 egg whites
  • 5 ounces superfine sugar
  • ⅙ fluid ounce white wine vinegar
  • ½ fluid ounce boiling water

Method

Quick and Easy Pavlova is a community recipe submitted by passionfruit and has not been tested by Nigella.com so we are not able to answer questions regarding this recipe.

  • Put all the ingredients into a food mixer (not processor). Beat at highest speed for 5 minutes till you have soft white peaks.
  • Line a tray with baking paper. Mound the meringue onto a 20 cm circle.
  • Smooth out and make "walls" and a hollow in the centre if wished.
  • Bake in the centre of the oven at 140C for an hour and 20 minutes. Leave in the oven to cool.
  • Serve topped with fresh cream or cream whipped and mixed with an equal quanitity of greek yoghurt, and decorate with fruit.
