Preheat oven to 350F/180C/Gas Mark 4. Combine the flour, bran, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients and quickly stir with a fork. Add the banana, milk, beaten eggs, and walnut pieces and mix until just blended. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour.
Introduction
Another in the theory that you can't have too much of a good thing and therefore the world can't have too many banana bread recipes.

For the Bread
- 9 ounces flour
- 1 cup wheat bran
- ⅔ cup superfine sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2½ teaspoons baking powder
- ⅓ cup melted butter
- 3 bananas (ripe and mashed)
- 2 eggs (beaten)
- ¼ cup milk
For the Optional
- 1 cup walnuts (pieces)
