Ingredients

Serves: 6-8

Metric Cups
  • 82½ grams butter (or margarine, melted)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 8 medium red potatoes
  • 2⅞ ounces butter (or margarine, melted)
  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 8 medium red potatoes

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400F/200C/Gas Mark 6.
  • Melt the butter and pour into the baking dish (or simply put the unmelted butter in the dish and put both in the preheating oven)
  • Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. Do not peel.
  • Sprinkle the Parmesan over the melted butter.
  • Put the potatoes cut side down in the dish.
  • Bake uncovered for 40-45 minutes until tender.
